Highland are experts in the field of coating steelwork to protect against corrosion and improving the aesthetics of steelwork through the long lasting application of colour.

This coatings directory has been produced by the Highland Group to assist specifiers, contractors and fabricators in selecting appropriate coatings for the protection of metal fabrications. It should be seen as a guide only. Further advice and assistance is available from a wide variety of sources, or alternatively please do not hesitate to contact a member of our technical sales staff.

The coatings directory was initially created to ease the comparison of our coating solution against alternatives. However through the exercise it became clear that with such a wide range of reference data, trade names, and measurement criteria, a comparison tool, written in plain English, would be of use when interpreting ISO 12944.

Protective coatings are often specified using ISO 12944. Conventions used in the standard are used throughout this directory.
