Established in 1978, Highland Metals Ltd is a privately owned Scottish Company trading under the name of Highland Galvanizers and in Central Scotland as Highland Colour Coaters Ltd.

Providing hot dip galvanizing and powder coating services to a wide range of industries throughout Scotland from custom built factories in Elgin, Moray and Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

The object of the Quality Assurance System is to systematically provide a galvanizing service to BS EN ISO 1461:1999 and powder Coating to BS 6496 and BS 6497 or other specifications as agreed with the customer.

Highland will, through management review, establish and monitor measurable quality objectives, as part of the company's commitment to the continual improvement of its Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9000: 2000.

The Responsibility for verifying compliance with the quality system is assigned to the Quality Manager or in his absence, the appointed deputy. Day-to-day responsibility for quality lies with the individuals actually performing the work.
