Expected Life

It is hard to give an exact figure for life expectancy as it is controlled by many factors (i.e. location of item, humidity levels, salinity levels etc) but, depending on environment, the life expectancy has been known to exceed 30 years. Please note by life expectancy we mean the length of time before an item has to be looked at for possible re-treatment. More often than not when a coated item is inspected at the end of its 'expected life' there is very little needing done to it. Take for example, some buildings in the London area were treated in the 1970s and still look as attractive today! Could the same be said of paint?

Maintenance

Most powder coated articles are free from maintenance for the duration of their life spans. This is due to the toughness and the stability of the coating and makes powder coating along with galvanizing the most economic methods for protecting your metalwork.

Guarantees

In co-operation with the powder manufacturer we can offer a coating guarantee of up to 25 years even in some of the more difficult environments!. Please note though for specific applications some powders are more suited than others. In order to achieve the best possible performance, it is important to discuss the application with the coater.
