Connor’s Court is a multi use games area in the south coast village of Rottingdean, near Brighton. The ball court was dedicated to the memory of Connor Saunders, a popular teenager who was tragically killed in 2012 at the age of 19.

Highland’s long standing client Russell Play were awarded the contract to design and build. Colourgalve Marine was the chosen coating for the steel, offering outstanding corrosion protection in the saline environment, yards from the sea front.

Colourgalv Marine is a triplex coating system which brings together gavlvanzing and powder coating. The zinc base layer and polyester top coat are sandwiched by an epoxy barrier coat. This ensures that the zinc coating does not oxidise in the salt rich environment.
