Commonwealth Games

Glasgow enjoyed a sporting party for two weeks in the summer of 2014. 4,500 athletes and 100,000 oversees visitors all converged on the city to enjoy the festivities. For the games to succeed Glasgow undertook a major building programme to create the venues and facilities that would serve the Games and Glasgow well into the 21st century.

Highland were proud to play a part in Glasgow’s transformation providing coatings for the athletes village, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, the SSE Hydro and the ‘Big G’. These coatings not only looked good for the Games but will go on looking good well into the future.
